Hey girls...Sorry I have not posted anything. My internet has not been working so I finally came somewhere with wireless internet. Did somebody send the our blurb to Michelle? April...I hope you didn't drive all the way to Cortland since class was cancelled anyway.

Just trying to cover all the bases here - I emailed my number to each of you and to Dr. Gonzalez. If I don't make it to class please feel free to call me with any questions or concerns you may have regarding the workshop.
I already supplied my input about the blurb and I'm sure whatever you come up with will be great!

Hey,
I think that's a great start! Perhaps we could include that they will leave with an established blog that is ready for their students to begin using...(assuming, of course, that we can get the laptop cart or meet in a computer room). Other than that, I like the blurb :0)
One other thing, instead of saying "We will...." maybe we should keep it focused on the person taking the workshop..."You will learn/create/experience/etc." Just a thought ~

Workshop Blurb...
I'm not really sure what to write for the blurb, but here's a start...
"Have you always wanted to use a classroom blog but didn’t know where to start? Come to the Cortland Blog Workshop and learn everything you need to know about blogging in your classroom. We will break down how to create and use a blog into simple, and easy to follow steps. Learn how to incorporate a blog into your existing literacy curriculum to promote authentic literacy learning. No more excuses, start blogging today!"
